The Challenge

Uncollected prints were impacting document security

  • Reliability and availability of printers

  • Ensuring document security and the protection of sensitive information

  • Uncollected prints left in the print tray or on top of devices posed a security risk

The Solution

Improving document security and printer reliability with managed print solutions

  • Replaced existing desktop printers with approximately 70 centralised multifunctional devices (MFDs) both A3 and A4 mono and colour

  • Implemented ‘FollowMe Printing’ software solutions that require users to authenticate their identity to retrieve their prints

"The security aspect of what we do is of paramount importance to us. We have to know who is printing what, where and when. The solution has gone above and beyond for us to provide that service and improve our document security."

– Perminder Bains, ICT Operations Manager
