We have sent between 1200 and 1500 new toys to 18 different hospices around the country in the run up to Christmas.
We are also teaming up with Wolverhampton charity Promise Dreams to send presents directly to the homes of 60 seriously or terminally ill children.
In the 7th year of running our Hospice Giveaway Programme our CEO James Abrahart said: “We admire the bravery shown by every child who accesses a hospice and our thoughts are with all the families throughout the year and especially at Christmas time.
“We aim to put a smile on children’s faces and everyone at Altodigital loves to be involved with this initiative from choosing the gifts to wrapping and delivering presents.”
We aim to provide hospices with everything they need to put the smiles on the children’s face with wrapping paper, tags and sellotape all provided.
“Through our partnership with the Hospice Quality Framework our aim is to help hospices save money by improving procurement throughout the year but at Christmas we aim to make a tangible difference to the lives of young people.”
Each hospice will receive a huge variety of toys and activities that cater for all stages of development, different cultural backgrounds and ages.
In 2019 we will deliver to hospices throughout the UK, from Liverpool to London and from Stoke to Southampton. We will also hand deliver our gifts to Mary Stevens Hospice based in Stourbridge.
