Tandridge Council
Tandridge District Council had a range of different manufacturer technology, comprising of various personal desktop devices and shared workgroup printers.
These were distributed throughout the different council offices.Their original set up was proving to be costly with funds being wasted on large volumes of paper being discarded daily, high energy costs to run their extensive fleet and no tracking on consumable spending.
The Council’s initial strategy for printing was outdated and unmanaged leaving them with an inefficient print estate, with no ability to establish the true running costs of their print fleet.
Tandridge Council’s other concern was their carbon footprint, having inefficient devices meant they need to see a significant reduction in power consumption to reach their internal targets.
